About

I’m a grad student in the Redfield lab at UBC. My background isn’t in microbi so I’m trying to expand my knowledge on the subject. I’m hoping to use this blog as a way to organize my personal research, to articulate and clarify scientific concepts in my mind, and to occasionally share interesting science stories or comments about life at UBC/Vancouver. Please keep in mind that I am a fool, and while I’ll attempt to be rigorous and accurate in my postings I am not an expert and could be mistaken.

What infoenzae means: It’s a spin on the name of our excellent  model organism, H. influenzae
